Intercultural Dialogue Institute of Montréal
The Intercultural Dialogue Institute (IDI) is a non-profit organization working towards advancing social cohesion and fostering respect and understanding among individuals of various cultures and faiths. IDI aim to achieve this goal through personal interaction and dialogue, promoting interfaith and intercultural cooperation, tolerance, and diversity.

Our Mission

Intercultural Dialogue Institute of Montréal
The Institute’s mission is to eliminate false stereotypes and prejudices through direct communication, contributing to the improvement of diversity and multiculturalism in Canada. IDI conducts various social, educational, and cultural activities such as lectures, seminars, conferences, discussion forums, and programs to fulfill its objectives.

Our History

Intercultural Dialogue Institute of Montréal
IDI was established in 2010 through a collaborative effort of multiple organizations and currently operates 11 chapters* and regional offices in major cities across five Canadian provinces. *IDI Montréal was established with the name Dialog Foundation in 2003. It has then changed its name to Intercultural Dialogue Institute of Montréal in 2013.
